General Studies (GSTD)GSTD 1002. Freshman Seminar. An introduction to test-taking and note-taking skills, dealing with math and test anxiety, memory techniques, time management, goal setting, and self-image enhancement. Required in the first regular semester of enrollment of all transfers who have fewer than 24 semester hours and all beginning freshmen. Fall, spring and summer semesters.
GSTD 1011. Career Planning. Designed to help students consider the factors that will affect the career choices they make, to help them to start making some of those choices, and to facilitate some of the skills necessary to put their plans into action. Offered – see advisor.
